Privacy policy
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website is designed to collect as little data as possible: it uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Below we explain which data we process, why, and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
FORTUNA DOMUS S.R.L.Strada Podgorica nr. 2, Birou 4, Sat Moșnița Nouă, Comuna Moșnița Nouă, Județul Timiș, Romania
E-mail: office@danubemodular.com
Phone: +387 65 20 10 20 (Bosnia and Herzegovina), +40 77 343 0148 (Romania)
If you have any questions about data protection, you can contact us at any time at office@danubemodular.com.
2. Contact, quote and configurator requests
When you send us a message through one of our forms — the contact form, the quote request or the configurator — we process the information you enter. Depending on the form, this typically includes:
- your name and e-mail address,
- your phone number, if you provide it,
- the country or location of your project,
- your message,
- the model, layout, facade and equipment you selected,
- the language and page from which the form was sent.
We use this data solely to answer your request, to prepare a proposal and — if you decide to work with us — to carry out the resulting pre-contractual and contractual steps. Fields marked as required are needed to answer your request; all other information is voluntary.
If you contact us directly by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, the same applies to the data you share with us. When you use WhatsApp, the provider's own privacy policy also applies.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data only where the law permits it:
- Answering inquiries and preparing proposals: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and the performance of a contract.
- Answering general questions that are not related to a contract: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to us.
- Operating a secure and stable website (server log files): Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the technical security and reliability of the website.
- Keeping business correspondence where the law requires it: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with legal obligations.
4. Recipients
We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes. Within the scope of the purposes described above, your data may be received by:
- our hosting provider, which operates the server on which this website and its form-processing script run;
- our e-mail provider, through which form submissions are delivered to our inbox and through which we reply to you;
- partners involved in transport, installation or mooring, where this is necessary for your project — and only after we have discussed it with you.
Service providers that process data on our behalf are bound by data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Where personal data is processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area — for example because our company or one of our service providers is located there — we ensure an adequate level of protection, for instance on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission or standard contractual clauses. Where you ask us for a proposal, the transfer may also be based on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR, as it is necessary to take the steps you have requested.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your inquiry only as long as necessary to answer it and to deal with any follow-up questions. If a contract results from your inquiry, we store the data for as long as the contractual relationship requires and in line with statutory retention obligations under commercial and tax law. Data that is no longer needed is deleted.
7. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not use cookies and does not include any analytics, tracking or advertising tools. We do not create user profiles.
Links to external services — such as Google Maps, WhatsApp or social networks — are ordinary links. These providers only receive data once you click such a link, and from that point on their own privacy policies apply.
8. Data stored in your browser
To make the website more convenient, we store a small amount of information in your browser's local storage (localStorage): your preferred language and the selections you make in the house configurator, so that they are still there when you return.
Our website assistant works with prepared answers directly in your browser. It keeps the current conversation in your browser's session storage (sessionStorage) only while the tab is open; your questions are not sent to us or to any third party.
This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us and is not used to identify you — unless you actively send your configuration or a message to us via one of our forms. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
9. Server log files
Each time a page is accessed, the server of our hosting provider automatically records technical information in so-called log files:
- IP address,
- date and time of the request,
- the page or file requested,
- the referring website (referrer),
- browser type and version, and operating system.
This data is needed to deliver the website and to detect and defend against attacks. It is not combined with other data sources and is deleted automatically after a short period, unless it is needed as evidence of a security incident.
10. Security
This website uses TLS encryption — recognisable by “https://” in your browser's address bar — to protect the data you send to us.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
- the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
- the right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR),
- the right to withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
To exercise your rights, simply contact us at office@danubemodular.com.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
